The Silver Maple Gallery welcomes you to discover the wonderful world of FINE ART right here in Central Texas. 

 

We have humble beginnings.  The Gallery started as the studio of artist Richard Skurla in Laporte, Colorado in 1994.  Mr Skurla wanted a way to display his artworks and to help his fellow artists.  By providing art classes in impressionism and abstraction, he built the Gallery with the intent to grow his art and his passion for art education.  Later he added a full range of fine art supplies to offer to his students and his fellow artists.

 

In 2002, he and his wife, Carolyn, moved to Waco, Texas.  Mr. Skurla continues to develop his Art School by working with local artists looking for a venue to learn and display their works of art.

The Silver Maple Gallery is focused on providing a forum for artists to develop their talents and enjoy to company of other artists whose single goal is to improve the quality of their artwork.

 

So if you have the passion for learning and collecting Fine Art, take a moment to view our wonderful collection by our artists and experience what original art can do for your artistic soul.  Private viewings can be arranged either at your home or at the Gallery.  Please contact the Gallery at 254-756-3321 for details.  Our Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10am - 6pm by appointment only.  Saturday times can also be arranged.
